I cannot express how surreal it is to see the book in my hands, but my hope is that it will provide you with a starting point to learn more about teen mental illness and how you can encourage your teens to take in active role in their own mental health. This book may be written for librarians, but anyone who works directly with teens can incorporate all or some of this advice to assist teens who may be experiencing a mental health crisis. Furthermore, empower you to de-stigmatize a legitimate health disorder that can have devastating effects on our communities.
